Holland Stam of the Northeastern women's soccer team earned 2022 NEWISA All-New England Second Team accolades.

Akyirem posted 27 points off 13 goals and one assist for the Huskies. Her 27 points were a team-high. The Kumasi, Ghana native's 13 goals tied to lead the CAA and she posted the third-most points by a Husky rookie in program history and most since 2009.

Legowski tallied five goals and one assist for 11 points. Her five goals marked a career-high. Legowski anchored the Husky midfield and was second on the team among field players with 1656 minutes played.

In her first year with the Huskies, Stam posted eight shutouts along with a 1.14 goals against average and .841 save percentage this season. The Ipswich, Massachusetts native made 116 saves which led all CAA keepers.

The team, which was voted on by NCAA Division I coaches from colleges and universities in New England, is comprised of a First Team, Second Team and a Third Team. Each team consists of four forwards, four midfielders, four defenders and a goalkeeper.
