BOSTON – The Northeastern men's basketball team continues its road stretch with a quick trip to Cambridge on Tuesday night to square off with Harvard. Tip-off at Lavietes Pavilion is slated for 7 p.m. on ESPN+.
THREE THINGS TO KNOW
1. THE SERIES WITH HARVARD
Northeastern and Harvard are meeting for the 60th time in program history with the Crimson leading the all-time series 41-18. The Huskies are in search of their first win over Harvard since 2019, and first win in Cambridge since 2018.
2. HE'S BAAAAAAACK
Tuesday marks the return of
Luka Sakota to Lavietes Pavilion after joining the Huskies as a graduate transfer for 2023-24. Sakota spent four years at Harvard and was team captain during the 2022-23 season. He played in 71 games over three seasons with the Crimson, averaging 7.3 points per game and earning College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors last season.
3. FROM DISTANCE
Sophomore
Jared Turner is 4-of-9 from three-point range early in the season, and is coming off a hot rookie season in which he shot 43-of-90 from long range. His 47.8% rate from three is the second best single-season mark in school history (minimum 50 attempts), behind only Caleb Donnelly's 52.9% success rate in 2014-15.
