BOSTON— The Northeastern women's hockey team is set to hit the road for one game against the No. 15 Vermont Catamounts on Tuesday, Nov. 21 at 6 p.m. The game will be available on NESN and ESPN+.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
- KILLING IT: Northeastern's penalty killing unit ranks third in the nation and first in Hockey East with a .936 penalty killing percentage. Additionally, the Huskies have scored twice while shorthanded. Fifth year Katy Knoll, leads all Hockey East forwards with 22 blocks on the season.
- PRO HUSKIES: Training camps for the newly founded Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) are officially underway. The Huskies had the most draft picks of any Hockey East school with seven. Draftees Alina Mueller, Maureen Murphy, Chloé Aurard, Hayley Scamurra, Brooke Hobson, Denisa Krizova and Maude Poulin-Labelle join initial signees Aerin Frankel and Kendall Coyne Schofield ahead of the first PWHL season. Additionally, Mckenna Brand and Lauren MacInnis are at Boston's training camp.
- WHAT'S A CATAMOUNT?: Northeastern and Vermont are set to meet for the first time this season on Tuesday. The Huskies swept the 2022-23 series with the Catamounts, winning 3-1 and 5-1 at home and 3-1 on the road. In three games against the Catamounts last season, Katy Knoll led all Huskies with three goals including a shorthanded game-winner. Gwyneth Philips posted all three wins in goal last year and averaged a 1.00 GAA and .939 save percentage over three games. The Catamounts sit at 6-6-1 on the season and most recently dropped a pair to Maine. Natalie Mlynkova is UVM's leading scorer with 15 points and Jessie McPherson has played the bulk of the minutes in net with a 2.36 GAA and .910 save percentage.Â
The Huskies will next face Boston College in a neutral site matchup in Gloucester, Mass. at the Dorothy Talbot Rink on Saturday, Nov. 25 at 2 p.m. Tickets are available
