BOSTON — The Northeastern track and field team picked up 13 wins at the Joe Donahue Games Friday evening at the Track at New Balance, including wins from sophomore

Savannah Blair and sophomore
Isabella Wiklund, while in Kingston, Rhode Island, graduate student
Dominique Biron won the 28th Annual URI Pentathlon at the Mackal Fieldhouse.

Track Events:
- Exilhomme began with a bang, putting up a 6.72 time in the 60m dash in his preliminary round to break the meet record, tie his personal best and the second-best mark in school history. He ran a 6.73 in the final to win the race.
- Freshman Savannah Blair won the women's 60m, beginning her college career with a time of 7.57 to place her at sixth in the Northeastern All-Time Top Ten Performance List. Graduate student Elizabeth McMahon followed closely behind her, placing second with a time of 7.60 and making her seventh on the All-Time Performance List.
- Next, senior Savion Thompson won the men's 60m hurdles, crossing the line at 8.21 seconds to take home first.
- In the women's mile run, three Huskies placed in the top four, with Sarah Petersen (4:59.59), Vivian McMahon (5:01.03) and Nicole Dunbury (5:05.28) finishing second, third and fourth, respectively.
- Quincy Scott championed the men's 500m, running a time of 1:05.91 to take first, while Ariann Robinson was the runner-up on the women's side with a time of 1:15.93.
- In the women's 300m, Elizabeth McMahon was the runner-up but ran a 39.04 to break the meet record and Sierra Latonnel also broke the meet record with a time of 39.57, finishing third.
- In the men's 800m, Kerem Ayhan ran a time of 1:50.53 to break the meet record and take home first, with Ryan Dailor finishing behind him with a time of 1:53.82.
- Freshman Ryan Sarney finished first among college athletes and second overall in the 3000m, running an 8:45.21.
- The Huskies won the women's 4x400m, with Robinson, Latonnel, Brittani Westberry and Claire Danyluk putting up a time of 3:56.86 to win.
Field Events:
- Freshman Cassandra Cinzori won the women's pole vault, vaulting over a height of 3.50m to take first, with classmate Hannah Shaw following with a height of 3.20m.
- On the men's side, Athanasios Pantazopoulis vaulted over a bar at 4.80m to win the meet and put himself at eighth on the All-Time Performance List.
- In the women's long jump, Ava Carry-McDonald took home first after posting a distance of 5.41m.
- Leila Curtis and Madeleine DuChaussee went one-two in the women's shot put, with Curtis hoisting her weight 12.89m and DuChaussee following with a 12.52m throw.
- Jordan Spencer was the winner for the men's triple jump, hitting the ground at 13.34m.
- The women's high jump saw sophomore Mia Belanger jump a height of 1.70m, winning the event and tying for tenth on the All-Time Performance List.
- Nicholas Pisciotta tossed his weight a distance of 18.05m, finishing first among student-athletes and second overall.
- In the women's weight throw, Isabella Wiklund moved into ninth on the All-Time Performance List, throwing a distance of 17.37m to win the event.
URI MULTI
Women's Pentathlon:
- Senior Dominique Biron dominated, finishing with 4,040 points to win the event, 389 points more than the next-best finisher. Biron won the 60m hurdles (8.62), long jump (5.95m) and 800m (2:23.21).
- Kennedee Cox finished eighth in the event with 3,308 points. She came in fourth in the shot put with an 11.07m throw.
Men's Heptathlon:
- Junior Paul Wisnaskas finished sixth and was the best Husky finisher, posting a score of 4,347 points. He came in fifth in the 60m hurdles, running an 8.97.
The Huskies head into the semester break after a strong showing and will get back into action Jan. 14, 2024 with the UMass Flagship Invitational at the Track at New Balance.
