Huskies Close Regular Season At Drexel, Hofstra

BOSTON – Winners of two straight, the Northeastern men's basketball team heads on the road for the final two games of the regular season, beginning on Thursday night at Drexel (7 p.m.). The Huskies will then head to Hofstra for a 2 p.m. tip-off on Saturday afternoon. Both games will be streamed on FloHoops.

FOUR THINGS TO KNOW

1. AUTISM SPEAKS –
Northeastern will be joining teams across the nation for Autism Speaks, Coaches Powering Forward this weekend. The Huskies are proud to stand alongside coaches across the country wearing the Autism Speaks puzzle piece pin, which shows support for creating a world where all people with autism can reach their full potential. 2. CRUNCH TIME – The Huskies (6-10) are currently in a four-way tie for seventh place in the conference standings with Delaware, Stony Brook and Elon with two games to play. William & Mary and Monmouth trail close behind at 5-10 in league play as everyone looks to automatically advance to the Second Round of next week's CAA Championship.

3. SERIES HISTORY -
The Huskies and Dragons are meeting for the 72nd time in series history, with Drexel owning a 43-28 edge in the series. The Dragons have won each of the last four meetings following a five-win stretch for Northeastern from 2018 to 2020.

Saturday's matchup with Hofstra will be the second meeting of the schools this season, with Hofstra holding a 29-25 edge in the series including a 72-53 win in Boston less than three weeks ago.

4. BEAST ON THE BOARDS -- Joe Pridgen is averaging 9.5 rebounds in his last five games, including a career-high 19 boards on Feb. 16 against Monmouth. It's tied for the most rebounds by a CAA player this season, and the most for a Husky since Quincy Ford's 19 rebounds vs. Lipscomb (Nov. 21, 2015). He is also one of 33 players in the NCAA to pull down at least 19 rebounds in a game this season.
