PHILADELPHIA – Drexel (16-14, 10-8) used a pair of big runs to end the first half and start the second, shooting 56% along the way in a 75-48 victory over the Northeastern men's basketball team (10-18, 6-11) on Thursday night at the Daskalakis Athletic Center.

The Huskies struggled to find their shooting touch throughout the night, finishing 18-of-57 from the field and 5-of-17 from three.
Jahmyl Telfort led Northeastern with 18 points on 7-of-18 overall.

Drexel, meanwhile, took advantage of a 44-26 edge in the paint and 36-27 in rebounds to put three players in double figures, led by 22 from Yame Butler. The Dragons finished 29-of-52 overall and 6-of-17 from deep.

Coleman Stucke gave Northeastern its only lead of the night, 14-12, with 8:44 until the break. Telfort led the way in the first with nine points for a Huskies squad that was 7-of-30 overall and 3-of-11 from three.

• Drexel was paced by 10 points from Butler in the first as the Dragons went on a 19-6 run to close the half to take a 32-20 lead into the locker room. Drexel shot 46% overall and scored 20 of its 32 points in the paint.

• The Dragons came out of the break firing, using a 17-4 run over the first 6:42 of the second half to increase its lead to 20+, an advantage they would keep the rest of the way.

The Huskies will close out the regular season on Saturday afternoon at Hofstra. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. and the game will be streamed on FloHoops.
