Huskies Finish Up at NEICAAA Championships and Harvard Crimson Elite

BOSTON – The Northeastern track and field program finished up competition at the NEICAAA Indoor Championships at The Track at New Balance, as well as the Harvard Crimson Elite at the Gordon Indoor Track in Cambridge, Mass.
 
NEICAAA Indoor Championships (Feb. 2-3)
Day One
  • Liangie Calderon finished third in the women's weight throw with a personal best mark of 17.75m. The mark puts Calderon at eighth all-time in Northeastern history. Trinity Cardillo finished eighth at 15.41m
  • On the first day of competition, Natalee Barber finished the pentathlon with a personal-best score of 2,539.
  • In the men's pole vault, Athanasios Pantazopoulos and Max Zuckerman posted identical marks of 4.35m.
Day Two
  • In the men's triple jump, Jordan Spencer (13.60m) finished ninth and Emanuele Dokyi (13.32m) finished 11th.
  • Leila Curtis finished fifth in the shot put with a mark of 12.67m and Cardillo finished ninth at 11.85m.
Harvard Crimson Elite (Feb. 3)
Women  
Men
  • Noah Sweeney finished fifth in the 60m dash, running a time of 6.76 to top his time from a week ago by 0.7 seconds. The time ranks fourth in Northeastern history.
  • Phillips Magre finished in sixth with a mark of 1.96m in the high jump.
  • In the 60m hurdles, Ethan Exilhomme finished second at 7.80, while Cory Gathier finished seventh at 8.17.
  • In the weight throw, Nicholas Pisciotta finished seventh with a mark of 17.51m, while Tremain Robinson finished just behind in eighth at 17.25m.
Northeastern will compete again tomorrow in the Bruce Lehane Scarlet and White Invitational at BU's Track and Tennis Center.
