Derin Erdogan tallied a team-high 13 points, but it was not enough as the Northeastern women's basketball team (10-10, 5-4 CAA), fell to Drexel (16-5, 8-2 CAA), 67-56 on Friday evening at the Cabot Center.

JaMiya Braxton also tallied double-digits for the Huskies. Batts notched 12 points, six rebounds, three assists, and two steals, while Braxton had 10 points. Erdogan also tallied six rebounds, four assists, and two steals.
- After Drexel opened up the scoring with a pair of free throws, the Huskies responded with six straight points to take an early 6-2 lead.
- A Â layup by sophomore Gemima Motema with 1:55 to go gave NU a 12-8 lead.
- Drexel would go on a 7-0 run in the next 1:27 before a Batts jumper before the buzzer ended the run, and had the Huskies only trailing by a point, 15-14, after the first ten minutes.Â
- The second started slow, but the Dragons went on a 7-0 run in 50 seconds for Drexel to extend the lead to 25-16 less than four minutes in.
- The teams would trade baskets over the next few minutes before a quick 6-0 run from the Huskies, bookended by a pair of Batts jumpers, closed the gap to 30-27 with under a minute to go.
- The Dragons would hit a pair of late free throws to take a 32-27 lead into the half.
- Batts was a perfect 4-for-4 from the field in the first half, as Northeastern held the visitors to no field goals in the final 3:46 of the half.
- NU outrebounded Drexel, 19-11, in the first half, but the Dragons scored 18 points off 14 Huskies turnovers to stay ahead.Â
- Drexel got off to a hot start in the third quarter, hitting five shots in the first 3:19 to quickly extend the lead to 44-30.
- Erdogan free throws and a jumper by Batts trimmed the deficit to single digits at 44-36 a few minutes later, but Drexel responded right back with a three to once again lead by double-digits.
- The Dragons shot 50% overall (7-of-14), and 60% (3–of-5) from three to take a 49-38 lead into the fourth.
- Drexel continued its strong performance on offense in the beginning minutes of the fourth, extending its lead to 56-42 at the 6:55 mark.
- The Huskies though, immediately fought back with eight straight points, highlighted by threes from Erdogan and Braxton to trim the deficit back to single digits at 56-48.
- The visitors never trailed the rest of the way, shooting 55.6% (5-of-9) in the quarter, and ultimately held on for the win.
