Huskies Close Out the Weekend at Bruce Lehane Scarlet and White Invitational

BOSTON – The Northeastern track and field program wrapped up another weekend of competition at the Bruce Lehane Scarlet and White Invitational at BU's Track and Tennis Center.
 
Women –
  • Lucinda Shotts started the day for the Huskies finishing third in the 500m, running a time of 1:14.20 that ranks sixth all-time in Northeastern history. Sarah Petersen came in just behind in ninth at 1:16.86.
  • Abigail Hassman finished the 1-mile run in 4:46.87, the time is the second best in Northeastern history.
  • Claire Danyluk (56.99) and Anna Davis (57.76) competed in the 400m dash.
  • Lucy Abdow ran the 800m in 2:11.71, to rank seventh all-time at Northeastern. Vivian McMahon ranks ninth all-time with a time of 2:12.82.
  • Shannon Trevor ran a personal best time in the 3000m at 9:58.56, while Nora Blodgett finished at personal best 10:18.13.
Men – The Huskies will return to action for the final weekend of competition before the CAA Championships at the David Hemery Invitational at the BU Track and Tennis Center.
