Murphy Named CAA Diver of the Year

RICHMOND, Va. – Northeastern sophomore Erin Murphy has been honored as the CAA Diver of the Year, the league announced today.

Murphy is the first Northeastern diver to earn the award after earning CAA Rookie Diver of the Year last season.
At the CAA Championships in February, the sophomore earned the silver medal in the 3M dives with a score of 289.25, as well as the bronze medal in the 1M dives at 280.60.
On Feb. 3 at the Boston Winter Open, Murphy set a career-best on the 3M boards with a score of 308.90.

Northeastern diving coach Lauren Colby was named CAA Diving Coach of the Year following the CAA Championships.
