HENLEY-ON-THAMES— Under light rain and windy conditions on the River Thames, the Northeastern women's rowing team closed out its historic week at the Henley Royal Regatta on Friday, June 30. The Huskies fell in the Town Challenge Cup (4-) and Island Challenge Cup (8+) on day four of competition.
Rowing against Leander Club and the Imperial College of London, which included members of the British National team, the four fell in the Town Challenge Cup (4-). The eight dropped their head-to-head matchup with the University of Pennsylvania 'A' crew in the Island Challenge Cup (8+).
Overall, Northeastern had a successful week in its debut at the Henley Royal Regatta. The Huskies picked up three head-to-head victories, with the four winning once and the eight winning twice. This marks the end of the Huskies' 2022-23 campaign.
