Huskies Welcome Seven Incoming Freshmen

BOSTON— Northeastern women's hockey head coach Dave Flint has announced the addition of seven incoming freshmen ahead of the 2023-24 season. The group includes Ella Blackmore, Mady Cipolla, Peyton Compton, Rylie Jones, Alexandra Lalonde, Ellie Mabardy and Mattie Robitzer.

"We are excited to welcome our newest group of Huskies to Huntington Avenue this fall," remarked Flint. "This year's class brings championships, international level medals and a wealth of big-game experience to help us continue to push our program forward. We will be adding high-end skill, scoring ability, grit and bolstering our already impressive depth, at all positions. We expect all seven of our incoming first year players to have a positive and immediate impact on our team both on and off the ice."

The freshmen will join graduate transfer Becca Vanstone as newcomers ahead of this coming season. The group will add to a talented Huskies roster that is coming off of a sixth-straight Hockey East Championship and third-straight Frozen Four appearance.
