BOSTON— The Northeastern women's hockey team will resume Hockey East play at Holy Cross on Friday, Jan. 5 at 6 p.m. The game will stream live on ESPN+.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
- GWYN-YTHING IS POSSIBLE: Gwyneth Philips owns a 1.20 GAA and .952 save percentage, good for the sixth and fifth-best marks in the country, respectively. Philips posted a season-high 45 saves at No. 14/13 Yale in her last outing. Philips has earned Hockey East Goaltender of the Week honors three times this season and was named Hockey East's Stop It Goaltending Goaltender of the Month for September/October.
- CLOSING TIME: Northeastern has scored 20 goals in third periods this season. The Huskies are outscoring opponents, 20-9 in the final frame and are 10-0-0 when recording a goal in the third PERIOD. Peyton Anderson has tallied five of her team-high nine goals in the third period. The Huskies are 2-1-0 in overtime games this season and are currently riding back-to-back overtime victories over Boston University and No. 14/13 Yale.
- PURPLE PEOPLE EATERS: Northeastern and Holy Cross are set to close out the three-game Hockey East slate against each other on Friday. The series is currently tied at 1-1, with the Crusaders winning 1-0 in OT and the Huskies winning 4-2 at the Hart Center Rink. Holy Cross is currently on a three-game losing streak but is set to open its 2024 schedule against NU. Peyton Anderson posted her first career hat trick in the 4-2 victory at Holy Cross. Millie Sirum and Alexia Moreau both lead the Crusaders with 14 points each. Madison Beck has started 12 of 18 games for HC and owns a 2.17 GAA and a .926 save percentage.
The Huskies will next travel to Maine for two games beginning on Friday, Jan. 12 at 6 p.m.
