Huskies Set For Tuesday Game At No. 2 Boston University

BOSTON— Northeastern jumps back into Hockey East action this Tuesday, Jan. 9th as they travel down the road to Agganis Arena to take on the Boston University Terriers.
 
THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
  1. LAST TIME OUT: This mid-week match-up marks the 248th contest between the two programs. The last time Northeastern saw, at the time, #3 Boston University was in the 2023 Beanpot semifinal game where the Huskies came out on top, 3-1. Alum Jakov Novak led the team with two points (1g, 1a) and defenseman Hunter McDonald recorded his first career goal to seal the win.
  2. REPPIN' ON THE ROAD: Northeastern is 3-0-0 in their last three trips to Agganis Arena. In the most recent trip to Commonwealth Ave., the Huskies were victorious, 2-0, with goals scored by forwards Cam Lund and Justin Hryckowian. Northeastern alum and current Buffalo Sabres goaltender Devon Levi completed the shutout with 41 saves.
  3. HOWLIN' HUSKIES: The Huskies scoring efforts continue to be led by senior Alex Campbell and sophomore Jack Williams. Campbell boasts 18 points from nine goals and nine assists. His two short-handed goals on the year are tied for third among all skaters in the NCAA. Williams' 18 points on the year come from eight assists and a team-high ten goals. Additionally, the Maine native has already surpassed his point total from last season (17) in 20 fewer games.
The Huskies will next host the University of Vermont for two games, beginning on Friday, Jan. 12 at 7 p.m.
