BOSTON— The Northeastern women's soccer team will host the Campbell Camels on Sunday, Oct. 20 at 1 p.m. at Parsons Field. The game will be available to stream on FloFC.
Â
Each team will be in search of three crucial CAA points as they meet for just the second time in program history. Â
Â
THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
- LAST TIME OUT: The Huskies defeated Drexel 1-0 last Sunday. Jessie Hunt scored the game-winning and only goal in the 41st minute, with an assist from Faith Rosenblatt. Eliza Teplow earned the shutout in goal, making two saves.
- ON THE HUNT: Jessie Hunt has 25 career assists at Northeastern, which ties the all-time program record set by Kayla Cappuzzo (2014-17). Hunt needs just one more assist to take sole possession of the record. Hunt owns the top two spots for single-season assists in program history, recording 13 in 2022 and 10 in 2023.
- A LOOK AT CAMPBELL: The two programs are set to meet for the second time in program history on Sunday and first time at Parsons Field. Last year, the two teams tied 3-3. The Camels are coming off a 2-0 win against William & Mary. Campbell's Kaleigh Backlund leads the team with eight goals, tied for the second-best mark in the CAA. The Camels have split time in goal, with Sierra Vance last making an appearance, making four saves to earn a shutout against William & Mary. Â
Northeastern will next face Stony Brook for its final regular season road game of the season on Thursday, Oct. 24 at 6 p.m.
