Men’s Rowing Completes Strong Weekend Of Racing At The Head Of The Charles


BOSTON – The Northeastern men's rowing team wrapped up a successful weekend at the annual Head of the Charles Regatta on Sunday. The Huskies had four boats competing at the event.
  • Stroked by Brandon Mark, Northeastern's championship A boat finished seventh collegiately with a time of 14:04.130 and were four seconds from being in the top three. The Huskies also crossed the line just behind Yale (14:03.713), and were ahead of strong opponents Penn, BU, and Brown.
  • The Huskies' championship B boat, stroked by Cameron MacGillivray placed third in the JV with a time of 14:20.434 ahead of Yale, Syracuse, and Brown.
  • In the club eights race on Saturday, stroked by Riley Putnam, Northeastern's A boat had the third fastest collegiate time of the event at 14:33.197.
  • Stroked by Will Donovan, the club B boat was the second-best fourth eight entry with a time of 14:55.080.
