RICHMOND, Va. – After guiding the women's Huskies to fifth overall at the Paul Short Invitational, graduate student Abigail Hassman was named CAA Women's Runner of the Week, announced by the conference office Tuesday, Oct. 8.
- The Foxborough, Mass. Native took third place on the Goodman Campus Cross Country Course, crossing the line in 20:01.5. She was four seconds away from breaking her personal best and Northeastern's school record in the 6k course.
- This is Hassman's first award of the season and her fifth as a Northeastern Husky.
Hassman and the rest of the cross-country team travel to New Hampshire for the New England Championships on Saturday, Oct.12 in Hopkinton, N.H.
