Murphy Named CAA Women's Diver of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. — Senior Erin Murphy was named the CAA Women's Diver of the Week, announced by the conference office Tuesday afternoon. The Duxbury, Mass. native swept the 1M and 3M Diving events at Vermont on Saturday, Sept. 28,.
  • Her performances propelled the Huskies to a 176-124 victory over the Vermont Catamounts, their first victory of the 2024-25 season.
  • Murphy scored a 258.83 in the 1M Dive, taking first place and giving Northeastern the first win of the meet to earn nine valuable points.
  • Later, the senior would take first place in the 3M Dive, earning a score of 260.85 and adding nine more points to the Huskies' score.
  • Murphy is the reigning CAA Diver of the Year. She earned the first CAA diving award this season and her sixth Diver of the Week award as part of the Northeastern Swim & Dive team.
Murphy and the Huskies will host the Rhode Island Rams on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 1 p.m. for Family and Friends Day. The event will be streamed on FloCollege.
