No. 15 Huskies Host No. 11/12 Eagles In Matthews Arena

BOSTON— The No. 15 Northeastern women's hockey team is set for a top-15 clash when the No. 11/12 Boston College Eagles come to Matthews Arena on Saturday, Nov. 30 at 7 p.m. The game will be available on NESN and ESPN+.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
  1. FEELING SKY HIGH: Senior Skylar Irving attended her first U.S. Women's National Team festival this summer and earned a spot on the 2024 U.S. Collegiate Select team that played three games against Canada. She was recently named to the same team that will travel to the Six Nations Tournament in Finland from Dec. 11-15. Irving is the only Hockey East player on Team USA's roster. Irving leads all Huskies with 14 points and is third among Hockey East players.
  2. GOING FOR THE KILL: The Huskies penalty kill is the best in the nation with a .939 penalty killing percentage. Of the three power-play goals the Huskies have allowed, only two have come with a goaltender in net. Northeastern has not allowed a power play goal since Oct. 5 and freshman netminder Lisa Jönsson has never allowed a power play goal.
  3. THE EAGLES OF CHESTNUT HILL: Meeting for the first time this season, Northeastern enters this matchup with Boston College riding a four-game winning streak. The Eagles most recently split a series with then-No. 14 Connecticut. The Huskies are riding an eight-game winning streak against the Eagles dating back to the 2022-23 season. Boston College is led by Sammy Taber with 15 points, the second-most points of any Hockey East player. Additionally, Julia Pellerin has a team-high six goals. BC has posted 44 goals this season, second among all Hockey East schools. In net, Grace Campbell leads the way for the Eagles. She owns a 2.49 GAA and .914 save percentage.
The Huskies will close out 2024 on the road at New Hampshire on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 6 p.m.
