Men's Hockey Set For UNH, Brown At Matthews Arena

BOSTON, Mass. — The Northeastern men's hockey team is set of home games this weekend. Kicking things off on Friday, Dec. 6, NU will host New Hampshire for their third match-up with the Wildcats this season. The Huskies will then host the Brown Bears on Saturday, Dec. 7.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
  1. WINNER, WINNER: Four Huskies have recorded at least one point in every win this season. Jack Williams is the sole NU skater to tally a goal in all three win. In total, Williams has recorded five points from four goals and one assist. Alongside Williams, Dylan Hryckowian has collected a team-high six points (3g, 3a) while both senior Cristophe Tellier and junior Vinny Borgesi have tallied four points from one goal and three assists.
  2. THE DORRINGTON DEFENSIVE: Junior Jackson Dorrington has quite the month in November. In six games, the defenseman recorded four points from one goal and three assists. Dorrington also collected 17 blocked shots and 18 shots on goal. The Massachusetts native earned his first league honors of the season after being named the Hockey East Defender of the Week on Monday, Nov. 25 following a three-point (1g, 2a) outing en route to helping Northeastern upset No. 3 Boston College.
  3. H(O)WL AT THE MOON: Three of the top five scorers for the Huskies during the 2023-24 season are firing on all cylinders during their current campaign. Tied with a team-high six goals each, sophomore Dylan Hryckowian and juniors Jack Williams and Cam Lund also lead the team in points with Hryckowian ahead with 13 and Williams and Lund tied with 12. In Hockey East action, the trio of forwards are all tied for 11th overall with three goals.
