BOSTON – In its final home game of the non-conference slate, the Northeastern men's basketball team will host Colgate on Sunday afternoon at Matthews Arena. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. on NESN and FloCollege.

Sunday is Northeastern's Youth Game, with includes a mini-hoop giveaway for fans while supplies last and a post-game meet and greet and autograph session with the Huskies.

1. SERIES HISTORY VS. COLGATE
Northeastern and Colgate are meeting for the 26th time in series history, with the Huskies leading 20-5. The teams last met in a home-and-home series during the 2021-22 season, with Northeastern earning a 74-69 victory at Matthews Arena.

Sam Thomson played 115 games for Colgate between 2020 and 2024, including both games against the Huskies in 2021.

2. HOME AGAIN, HOME AGAIN
The Huskies are back at Matthews Arena for its final home game of the non-conference slate. Since the 2014-15 season, the Huskies are 29-8 (.784) at home against non-conference opponents, including a 2-1 mark this season. In its three home games, Northeastern is shooting 52.2% from the field and 39% from deep.

3. BLOCK PARTY
After recording 107 blocks in 32 games last season, Northeastern already has 45 in nine games in 2024-25.

Junior
Collin Metcalf has already surpassed his total from 2023-24 (11) with 22, good for ninth in the NCAA, while his average of 2.4 blocks per game is 14th in the nation and second in the CAA. Metcalf had six blocks in 18 minutes against La Salle on Dec. 3, the most in the game for a Husky since Nkem Ojougboh at Santa Clara on Dec. 29, 2009.

4. SAAC HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE
Sunday is another opportunity for Northeastern men's basketball fans to participate in the Huskies Holiday Toy Drive, presented by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

Please consider donating new, unwrapped toys to The Wonderfund: a private nonprofit, serving kids engaged with the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families. Donation bins will be located on the concourse of Matthews Arena.Â

5. PARKING FOR HOME GAMES AT MATTHEWS ARENA
Fans attending Athletic events at Matthews Arena are able to park in the Columbus Avenue Garage during the event free of charge. The garage is open to fans two (2) hours prior to game time. From Columbus Garage fans can access Matthews Arena by taking the footbridge over the MBTA tracks via Camden Street. Fans that park in Columbus Garage are asked to exit the garage no later than one (1) hour following the conclusion of the game.
Metered parking is also available on streets around the arena, which is free of charge on Sundays.
