BOSTON— For the third year in a row, the No. 14 and second-seeded Northeastern women's hockey team will meet the ninth-seeded Merrimack Warriors in the Hockey East Quarterfinals on Saturday, March 2 at 7:30 p.m. in Matthews Arena. The game will broadcast live on NESN+ and ESPN+.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
- THE SEASON AFTER THE SEASON: Northeastern heads into the Hockey East Tournament looking for a record seventh-straight Hockey East Championship. The Huskies own the No. 2 seed in the Hockey East Tournament this season after finishing the regular season with 51 points. NU is 5-2 overall as the No. 2 seed in tournament history. The Huskies own an overall record of 33-11 in the Hockey East Tournament and inn the quarterfinals, the Huskies are 18-3 overall while riding a 15-game winning streak.
- HUSKY EAST ALL-STARS: Six Huskies earned Hockey East All-Star accolades, the most of all schools. This marks the fifth season in a row NU has had at least six members on Hockey East All-Star teams. Additionally, Allie Lalonde was named to the All-Rookie team. Gwyneth Philips and Megan Carter earned First Team accolades, Jules Constantinople and Peyton Anderson claimed Second Team honors and Katy Knoll and Skylar Irving earned Third Team honors. Philips also earned Goaltender of the Year and Three Star Award honors, while Carter was named the Best Defender.
- WARRIORS COME OUT AND PLAY: Ninth-seeded Merrimack downed Maine, 2-1, in overtime to make it to the Quarterfinal round. Northeastern is 2-0 all-time against Merrimack in the playoffs. The Huskies own a 2-1-0 record against the Warriors from the regular season. Katy Knoll leads all Huskies with four points against MC this season off two goals and two assists. Calli Hogarth started all three games in goal against NU, owning a 2.37 GAA and .915 save percentage against the Huskies.
