LONDON — Freshman swimmer
May Bradburn is headed back home to the United Kingdom this week as she will swim at the Great Britain Swimming Championships from Thursday, April 4 to Sunday, April 7 at the London Aquatics Centre, the former Olympic venue for the 2012 London games.
Bradburn will swim the 50m freestyle Thursday, the 100m butterfly Saturday and the 100m freestyle Sunday as she tries to qualify for the British National Team at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
For the Chelmsford, England native, this is not her first time swimming at the London Aquatics Centre, which hasn't hosted a ticketed event since 2015. The Huskies' winter training trip saw them in England visiting the Centre and practicing in the same pool Bradburn will swim in this coming week.
