Northeastern Finishes At Miami Hurricane Alumni Invitational

CORAL GABLES, Fla. — The Northeastern track & field teams finished up competition at the Miami Hurricane Alumni Invitational Saturday evening, with eight athletes competing over the two days.
  • Fifth year Kennedee Cox added her name to the All-Time Top Ten Performance List in the high jump, tying for the ninth spot after eclipsing a 1.67-meter bar.
  • Junior Ethan Exilhomme finished third in the 110m hurdles, crossing the line in 13.85 seconds.
  • In the women's 100m, graduate student Elizabeth McMahon dashed to a 11.89 time, finishing 11th. She also finished the 200m in 23.88, the fourth-fastest collegiate time in the race.
  • On the men's side, senior Noah Sweeney was the top Husky finisher with a 10.67 time, while freshman Bashir Praileau finished in 11.09. Sweeney wrapped up his day with a 21.40 time in the 200m.
  • Fifth year Dominique Biron championed the 400m hurdles, crossing the line in 1:00.95.
  • Junior Paul Wisnaskas also competed, tossing his javelin 31.69 meters and finishing the 110m hurdles in 15.92 seconds.
The Huskies are still in action this weekend, as they take on the UMass Flagship Opener Sunday, April 7 in Amherst, Massachusetts.
