RICHMOND, Va.— Fifth year
Jessie Hunt of the Northeastern women's soccer team earned Preseason All-CAA honors for the second year in a row as announced by the league on Wednesday. Northeastern was picked to finish fourth in the preseason poll with 115 points.
Faith Rosenblatt also earned CAA Preseason Honorable Mention accolades.
Headed into her final campaign with the Huskies, Hunt has claimed All-CAA First Team honors the past two seasons. The Edina, Minnesota native posted a career-high 22 points last season off six goals and 10 assists.
The Huskies return a talented roster that made a 13th-straight CAA tournament appearance last season. Northeastern earned one first-place vote and were picked to finish fourth (115 points) in the CAA Preseason Poll.
Northeastern opens its 2024 slate at crosstown rival Boston University on Sunday, Aug. 18 at 6 p.m.
