BOSTON— Fifth year Jessie Hunt of the Northeastern women's soccer team claimed NCAA Division I 2024 NEWISA All-New England Third Team honors. Hunt earned Third Team accolades for the second year in a row.
 
Hunt tallied four goals, four assists and 12 points during the 2024 season. Hunt tied to lead the Huskies in goals, assists and points. She recorded her 26th career assist against Campbell on Oct. 20 to set a new program record for career assists.
 
The Edina, Minnesota native finished her Northeastern career with 11 goals, 27 assists and 49 points which ranks as the ninth-best mark in program history. Her 49 points came with her playing in just 55 games in the Red & Black.
 
The team, which was voted on by NCAA Division I coaches from colleges and universities in New England, is comprised of a First Team, Second Team, and a Third Team.
 
"The 2024 NEWISA All-New England Team highlights the best student-athletes from colleges and universities in the region," said NEWISA President Tom McGuinness. "These players represent many of the most talented collegiate players in the country. They have pushed their teams to success on the field and we are proud to recognize them for all they have achieved. NEWISA congratulates all these players for a tremendous season."
 
The 2024 NEWISA All-New England Team was chosen following a nomination and voting process. Each team contains four forwards, four center midfielders, four defenders and one goalkeeper. Voting ties expanded some teams.
