RICHMOND, Va. — Senior
Erin Murphy celebrated the new week with the CAA Women's Diver of the Week award, as announced by the conference Tuesday. It is Murphy's third award this season and first since October 8.
- The Duxbury, Mass. native celebrated her senior day with wins in both diving events to guide Northeastern to a 209-65 win over Stony Brook this past Saturday.
- She opened the meet with the 3M Dive, taking first place after scoring a 330.15. Murphy then scored a 307.20 in the 1M Dive to sweep the diving events. It is also the third time she has swept the 1M and 3M this season.
- The senior's three weekly awards rank second among all CAA divers.
Murphy and the rest of the swim and dive team are off for the next two weeks. Their next competition is the Boston Winter Open, hosted by Boston University, from February 7-8.
