Women’s Soccer Closes Out Home Slate Against Stony Brook

BOSTON— The Northeastern women's soccer team will host Stony Brook on Sunday, Oct. 12 at 1 p.m. at Parson Field. The Huskies final home game will serve as their annual Pride game.
 
A fan bus will depart from Forsyth Street at 12:30 p.m. and will return following the conclusion of the game.
 
THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
  1. LAST TIME OUT: The Huskies played to a 1-1 draw against Towson in their last game. Senior Maggie Cochran posted her first goal of the season in the tie. Cochran's goal was assisted by sophomore Lughano Nyondo who lead all Huskies with five assists, the second-best mark among CAA players.
  2. ELIZA TEP-NO: Junior goalkeeper Eliza Teplow has started every game for NU this season. She posted a career-high nine saves in the 1-1 tie against Towson. Teplow is averaging 5.08 saves per game, tops among all CAA keepers. She owns a .792 save percentage, the second-best mark in the CAA.
  3. SCOUTING THE SEAWOLVES: Stony Brook currently leads all CAA North teams with a 4-1-0 conference record. The Seawolves are 9-3-1 overall and are riding a two-game winning streak. Reilly Rich leads all CAA players with 10 goals, while Hedvig Helling has a league-high six assists. Northeastern is 7-4-3 all-time against Stony Brook and is looking for its first win over the Seawolves since 2022.
 Northeastern will next hit the road to face William & Mary on Thursday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m.
