Huskies Close Regular Season At Monmouth

BOSTON— The Northeastern women's soccer team is set to close out its regular season on the road at Monmouth on Sunday, Oct. 26 at 1 p.m. The game will stream live on FloCollege.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
  1. LAST TIME OUT: The Huskies posted a 1-1 week, with a loss at William & Mary and a win at Hampton. Against Hampton, freshman Ava Gialanella scored her first career goal and assist. Gialanella's goal counted as the game-winner, with sophomore Lughano Nyondo scoring the game's other tally.
  2. PLAYOFF PICTURE: Headed into the final weekend of game action, the Huskies need to pick up three points at Monmouth to make the CAA playoffs. Additionally, Northeastern will need help from other games around the league to propel itself into playoff position.
  3. SCOUTING THE HAWKS: Monmouth has already clinched a spot in the CAA Playoffs and will be playing for rights to the No. 1 seed. The Hawks sit at 10-5-1 on the season and 5-3 in conference. They most recently dropped to William & Mary, 1-0. Northeastern is 1-2-0 all-time against Monmouth. NU fell to the Hawks, 2-1, in 2024.
The Huskies will await the results of Sunday to see the CAA playoff picture.
