BOSTON, Mass. – Northeastern (8-12, 4-7) powered past Hampton (1-22, 0-13) in straight sets on Saturday afternoon at the Cabot Center.

- Set One: The Huskies came out firing in the opening set, hitting .361 as a team behind efficient play from Emma Rowell and Beatrice Gennari, who each tallied multiple early kills. Northeastern used a balanced attack to pull away midway through the set, with Brynn Smith adding a pair of kills and Nadia Koanui serving tough from the back line. The Huskies closed on a 6-1 to take opener in commanding fashion.
- Set Two: The Huskies offense to roll in the second set, posting 15 kills and a .275 hitting percentage. Gennari paced the Huskies with several timely swings, while Svenja Rodenbüsch added five kills in the frame. Arina Sosinovica directed the attack with precision, recording ten assists in the set and adding one of her two aces on the afternoon. The Huskies' front line, anchored by Gennaro and Zehra Yilmaz, controlled the net with multiple blocks to extend the match led to 2-0.
- Set Three: NU sealed the sweep behind another efficient offensive performance, hitting .308 in the final frame. Rowell took command late, finishing with a team-high 12 kills for the match, while Rodenbüsch and Smith each added key point down the stretch. The Huskies defense remained steady, with Nadia Koanui and Smith combining for 14 digs and the team holding Hampton to under .100 hitting for the match.
- Northeastern was led by Rowell's 12 kill on .529 hitting and Rodenbüsch's 11-kill, seven-dig performance.
- The Huskies finished the day with 49 kills to Hampton's 19, along with six service aces and six total blocks.
