BOSTON, Mass. – Northeastern (9-12, 5-7) capped off its weekend homestand with a dominant 3-0 sweep over Hampton (1-23, 0-14) on Sunday afternoon at the Cabot Center.

- Set One: The Huskies came out firing in the opening set, hitting .560 as a team behind efficient swings by Brynn Smith and Beatrice Gennari. Smith led the way with five kills in the set while the Huskies held Hampton to just five kills total to cruise to a 25-10 win.
- Set Two: Northeastern continued to control the pace in the second set, maintaining a balanced attack across the front line. Gennari and Emma Rowell each tallied four kills in the set, while setter Arina Sosinovica steered the offense with nine assists. The Huskies also converted five service aces, including a pair from Nadia Koanui, to extend their lead with a 25-16 victory.
- Set Three: The third set proved to be the most competitive, featuring eight ties and three lead changes. Hampton jumped out to an early advantage before the Huskies rallied behind Smith and Rowell, who combined for eight kills down the stretch. A late block assist from Zehra Yilmaz helped seal the 25-23 win to complete the sweep.
- Smith finished with a match-high 13 kills on .600 hitting, followed by Gennari's eight kills at a .500 clip.
- Rowell added 11 kills and a .421 percentage, while Sosinovica dished out 23 assists and Koanui recorded five aces and 12 digs.
The Huskies return to action next weekend when they travel south to take on Campbell for a two-match series on Friday, Nov. 7 (6 p.m.) and Saturday, Nov. 8 (1 p.m.).
