AMESBURY, Mass.— Freshman
Stryker Zablocki of the No. 8/9 Northeastern women's hockey team was named the Hockey East Rookie of the Week as announced on Monday. Zablocki guided the Huskies to a weekend sweep over Merrimack.

The Prince Albert, Saskatchewan native posted her first career hat trick in a 4-1 victory over Merrimack. Zablocki is the first Northeastern freshman since Kendall Coyne during the 2011-12 season to record a hat trick. Zablocki now has seven goals, six assists and 13 points on the season.

Over the two victories, Zablocki finished with three points and a plus-two rating. This award marks the first weekly honor of Zablocki's career.
