Huskies Head To BU For Terrier Invitational

BOSTON - The Northeastern women's swim and dive team (3-1) heads to Boston University for the three-day Terrier Invitational, running from Friday, Nov. 21 through Sunday, Nov. 23. The Huskies will compete at the FitRec Competition Pool against Boston College, Bryant, Fairfield, Massachusetts, Army West Point (diving), Babson (diving), and Colgate (diving). The competition will be streamed on ESPN+ and live results will be available on the Meet Mobile App.

1. INVITATIONAL HISTORY: The Huskies are the reigning champs from the past two seasons at the Terrier Invitational. Last year, junior May Bradburn captured three individual victories (100 Free, 100 Fly, 50 Free) while senior Erin Murphy swept both diving events for the second straight year, and the Huskies won all four relay events. Graduate student Emily Gjertsen highlighted Sunday's finals by breaking the school record in the 1650 Free with a time of 16:44.67, nearly 10 seconds faster than the previous mark.

2.  BRADBURNS BACK: This year, May Bradburn continues to be successful in the pool. In the last meet against UCONN, Bradburn helped the 200 Medley relay team to a win as well as taking an individual victory in the 50 Free. Previously, she also championed the 50 Free against Vermont. Bradburn and the team look to make their back-to back wins at the Terrier Invitational a three-peat.
