BOSTON -- Northeastern Baseball's annual Leadoff Reception will be held on Saturday, January 31 from 3:00-6:00 pm on the 8th floor of Northeastern University's EXP Building, and will feature the 2025 CAA Championship ring ceremony. All are cordially invited to attend the VIP cocktail hour – beginning at 3:00 pm – as well as the event reception beginning at 4:00 pm. 

The Leadoff Reception serves as the unofficial start to the Northeastern baseball team's spring season, which officially begins on Friday, February 13th, as the Huskies kick off the season at the 2026 MLB Desert Invitational in Arizona.

The reception will provide opportunities for families, friends, and supporters to hear from coaches and players about the progress made in the fall, and a preview of what's to come in the 2026 season. This year, we will celebrate the successes of the 2025 team with a special CAA Championship ring ceremony. Coach Mike Glavine will also announce the program's distinguished Friend of the Program award.

Registration for the VIP cocktail hour is available at $300 per person and includes admission to the ensuing reception with two drink tickets. General admission registration is $150 per person and provides access to the event reception from 4:00-6:00 pm.

There are a variety of sponsorship opportunities available for this year's Leadoff Reception, beginning at $500. All sponsorships include access to the VIP cocktail hour and event recognition opportunities.
