Northeastern Wraps Fall Racing At Foot Of The Charles

BOSTON — The Northeastern women's rowing team will close out the fall slate this weekend at the Foot of the Charles Regatta on Saturday, Nov. 8. The women's race will begin at 9:00 a.m.
 
THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
  1. FOOT OF THE CHARLES: The Huskies will have five boats competing in the varsity eight race. The field on Saturday will consist of Boston University, Boston College, MIT, and Harvard-Radcliffe. The course starts at the MIT Boathouse and finishes at the Newell Boathouse.
  2. ON THE CHARLES: This weekend marks the second fall race for the Huskies on the Charles. Most recently, at the Head of the Charles Regatta on Oct. 19-20, NU entered four boats. In the Championship Eights division, Northeastern recorded a time of 16:19.974, coxed by Isabella Hsia. In the club division, the eight stroked by Liv Oyen place sixth with a time of 16:44.941, while the boat coxed by Lilly Pantelogianis finished 28th in 17:37.902. Lastly, the Club 4+ came in 19th overall with a time of 18:59.736.
  3. LAST TIME OUT: At the 2024 Foot of the Charles Regatta, the first varsity eight, stroked by Heather Taylor, claimed a third-place finish in a field of 26, clocking a time of 14:07.300. The second varsity eight finished 14th with a time of 15:05.400, and the third varsity placed 17th at 15:30.200. The fourth and fifth varsity eights rounded out the Huskies' efforts by finishing 22nd (16:00.300) and 23rd (16:20.300), respectively.
