BOSTON – The Northeastern University Baseball program has unveiled its full 2026 schedule, which begins on Friday, February 13th, 2026 at the prestigious MLB Desert Invitational in Phoenix, Arizona. The defending CAA Regular Season and Tournament Champions open up Friedman Diamond for the season on Friday, March 13th as they host conference rival Towson University in a three-game series.
Coming off a record-breaking season with 49 wins and 25 in conference, and their second straight Baseball Beanpot championship, the Huskies are looking to stay strong and make another postseason run in 2026.
After competing in the MLB Desert Invitational from February 13th to the 15th, the Huskies return to Florida for their annual scrimmage with the Boston Red Sox on February 20th at JetBlue Park. NU finishes that weekend with a two-game series against Minnesota in Fort Myers that Saturday and Sunday, February 21st and 22nd.
The Huskies travel south the following weekend for a four-game stretch that includes matchups with Grambling State and a pair of games at defending national champion LSU in Baton Rouge. Northeastern then opens up conference play on the road with three games at Stony Brook from March 6th to the 8th.
Northeastern's 23-game home slate opens with nine games at Friedman Diamond from March 13th to the 24th. The Huskies welcome Towson, Merrimack, Elon, and cross-town rival Boston College to Brookline in that stretch. The Huskies will host four CAA home series in the 2026 season, hosting Elon (March 20-22), Monmouth (April 2-4), Hofstra (April 24-26), and Stony Brook (May 8-10) as they look to defend their conference championship. Northeastern also welcomes UConn to Friedman Diamond for a midweek matchup on March 31st, and plays host to a four-game weekend series against Merrimack and Maine from April 10th to the 12th.
The 2025 Baseball Beanpot Champions begin their title defense on April 7th facing off against Harvard at O'Donnell Field in Cambridge. The matchup is a rematch of last year's championship game at Fenway Park, the first time the tournament had been played at the iconic ballpark in six years. Round two of the Baseball Beanpot is slated for April 14th.
The Huskies will look to defend their CAA Tournament title in Wilmington, North Carolina from May 20th to the 24th. Northeastern went a perfect 3-0 in last season's tournament as the #1 seed, claiming the second tournament championship in program history.
