No. 6 Huskies Take On Eagles, Celebrate Senior Day And Matthews Arena Finale

BOSTON— The No. 6 Northeastern women's hockey team is set to close out its 2025 slate with a two-game series against Boston College beginning on the road on Friday, Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. Game two is set for a 1:30 p.m. puck drop on Saturday, Dec. 6 and will serve as the Huskies' Senior Day and final game in Historic Matthews Arena. Both games will stream live on ESPN+ and Saturday's game will be available on NESN.
 
Prior to puck drop in their final game in Matthews, Northeastern will celebrate seven seniors including, Lily Shannon, Holly Abela, Mia Langlois, Paige Taborski, Jules Constantinople, Lily Brazis and Jaden Bogden.  Over 100 program alumni will also be in attendance to celebrate the final game in Matthews. Program legends Brooke Whitney and Florence Schelling will drop the puck.
 
THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
  1. SENIOR SALUTE: Northeastern will be celebrating the careers of seven graduates this weekend. Over the past four years, this group has helped the Huskies to a Frozen four appearance, three-straight Beanpot titles, including the first two titles ever won at TD Garden and a Hockey East Tournament Championship.
  2. CHARGED UP: Overall, offensively, the Huskies have scored 58 goals, the most among all Hockey East schools and sixth in the country. The Huskies' power-play leads all Hockey East teams, converting at a .225 clip. Northeastern has scored 16 goals on the player-advantage, tied for the fifth-best mark in the NCAA.
  3. DAWGS VS. BIRDS: Northeastern enters this matchup on a two-game skid, while the Eagles most recently split a series with St. Lawrence. The Huskies owned a 2-2-0 record against the Eagles last season, with BC taking the Hockey East series, 2-1. Lily Shannon led all Huskies with five points against the Eagles last year. Grace Campbell was named the Hockey East Goaltender of the Month for November. Campbell has started all 17 games for the Eagles and owns a 2.62 GAA and .927 save percentage. Ava Thomas leads all BC players and sits second in Hockey East with 23 points. Her 23 points rank second among all freshmen in the NCAA.
The Huskies will return to play in 2026, hitting the road to take on No. 15 Yale on Tuesday, Jan. 6 at 6 p.m.
