Huskies Finish Indoor Season At Third Day Of ECAC/IC4A Championships

BOSTON, Mass. – The Northeastern track and field team finished the ECAC/IC4A Championships Sunday at the BU Track and Tennis Center, closing the 2024-25 indoor season. The day was highlighted by a photo finish win from the men's 4x800 team of freshman Ajay Raina, junior Conall Rogers, freshman Cian Gara Grady, and graduate student Tyler Brogan.
 
TRACK EVENTS
  • Sophomore Victoria Knight began the final day with a fourth-place finish in the 60m final, clocking a 7.66.
  • In the final of the mile, freshman Jacob Redman captured ninth with a time of 4:12.99.
  • Junior Ariann Robinson ran a 55.91 in the 400m final, finishing seventh. She also competed in the 200m final, where she dashed to eighth with a 24.71.
  • In the 500m, sophomore Johnny Emmanuel earned third place after running a 1:03.99 for the men, while freshman Morgan Hayward set another personal record of 1:15.09 to finish second for the women. That time is the eighth fastest on the All-Time Indoor Performance List.
  • Senior Lucy Abdow ran a 2:53.60 in the 1000m final, crossing the line in third.
  • The relay team of graduate student Tessa McClain, sophomore Waverly Hassman, senior Lauren Trejo, and freshman Alanna Hagen took on the DMR, finishing third with a 12:07.09 mark.
  • In the 4x800, the men's team of Raina, Rogers, Gara Grady, and Brogan edged out St. Joseph's (Pa.) on the final lap, clocking a 7:33.79 to win by .03 seconds and marking the eighth fastest time in school history.
  • The women's 4x800 team of senior Shannon Trevor, freshmen Anna Lonergan and Lily Poteet, and McClain took sixth with a time of 9:29.25.
