Huskies Finish Strong At UMass, Exilhomme Secures Second Place Finish

BOSTON, Mass. – Senior Ethan Exilhomme earned a top two finish in 110 meter hurdles at the Penn Relays on Saturday, while the field events rounded out their weekend at UMass on Sunday.

FIELD EVENTS
  • Sophomore Mark Etienvre started the day for Northeastern with a fifth place finish in shot put with a distance of 14.64 meters. Teammate Ohan Ambartsoumian finished just behind in seventh with a mark of 13.93 meters. Etienvra also secured a seventh place finish in the discus event, while Ambartsoumian finished 11th in the event. 
  • In the pole vault senior Athanasios Pantazopoulos secured a first place finish for Northeastern with a mark of 4.77 meters. Teammate Alexander Yuen tabbed sixth place with a mark of 4.32 meters. 
  • Senior Abigail Klinge headlined the discus event for the Huskies notching a second place finish with a mark of 44.76 meters. Senior Claire Kuzma notched a 12th place finish in the event with a mark of 36.39 meters. 
  • In the hammer throw freshman Zackery DelSasso tabbed a third place finish with a mark of 54.87 meters. Teammate Tremmain Robinson finished right behind in fourth with a mark of 54.34 meters. 
  • Sophomore Hannah Shaw finished up the day for Northeastern with a fourth place finish in the pole vault with a mark of 3.46 meters.

TRACK EVENTS
  • Exilhomme competed in the championship round of the 110 meter hurdles at Penn Relays finishing in the second place slot with a time of 13.71.
