JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — After four days of competition against the best athletes in the East Region, the Northeastern track & field team concluded action from the NCAA East Preliminaries at Hodges Stadium, hosted by the University of North Florida Saturday afternoon.
- Sophomore Camryn Cole took on the women's high jump Saturday afternoon. She tied for 33rd in the event after clearing the bar at 1.74m. She closes her 2024-25 campaign, having recorded the second-best outdoor high jump mark in program history and earning a bronze medal at the CAA Outdoor Championships.
- Senior Ethan Exilhomme's season continues after he qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the men's 110m hurdles. He ran a 13.45 to win his heat in the quarterfinal, recording a personal best and school record.
- Sophomore Savannah Blair ran an 11.49 in the women's 100m and a 24.16 in the women's 200m Thursday. She caps her season with two silver medals from the CAA Outdoor Championships and outdoor school records in the 100m, 200m, and 4x100 relay.
- Graduate student Nicholas Pisciotta earned a top 25 finish in the men's hammer throw (62.61m), and graduate student Cameron Rodgers clocked a 51.11 in the first round of the men's 400m hurdles. Pisciotta closes his career as an eight-time CAA medalist, while Rodgers holds the second-fastest 400m hurdle in outdoor program history and a CAA bronze medal.
- Sophomore Brunner Williams ran a 21.72 in the men's 200m Wednesday night. His second season was one to remember, claiming the school record in the men's outdoor 200m and CAA medals in the men's 4x100 relay and 200m.
The NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, held at Hayward Stadium in Eugene, Oregon, begin June 11 and last until June 14. All action will be showcased on ESPN.
