BOSTON -- The Northeastern University men's soccer team (1-3-1, 0-2-0 CAA) continues conference play this weekend as we approach the halfway mark of the regular season. The Huskies travel to West Long Branch to face the Monmouth Hawks (2-2-1, 1-0-1 CAA) on Saturday, September 13th at 12 p.m., before heading to Hanover for a midweek non-conference clash with the Dartmouth Big Green (0-1-2) on Wednesday, September 17th at 7 p.m. Saturday's CAA matchup will stream on FloCollege, while Wednesday's contest will be available ESPN+.
THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
1.    TOP OF THE TABLE: Northeastern travels to face the Monmouth Hawks, who are currently undefeated in CAA play. Monmouth holds the advantage in the brief all-time series with Northeastern, with both previous meetings resulting in narrow defeats for the Huskies. Northeastern looks for its first victory over the Hawks, and its first CAA win of the year, on Saturday.
2.    RETURN TO HANOVER: The Huskies make their first trip to Dartmouth since 2016, when they suffered a 2-0 defeat to the Big Green. This marks just the tenth all-time meeting between these programs, with Dartmouth holding a 7-3 advantage in the series. However, the Huskies grabbed 4-2 home victory over the Big Green in their most recent match up, which was the first meeting of the two teams since 2016.
3.    LAST LINE OF DEFENSE: Through five games of the 2025 season, goalkeeper Tobias Jahn leads the CAA with 21 saves, is second in saves per game (4.40) and third in save percentage (.733). His 21 saves are the 20th-most in the NCAA.
