Women’s Soccer Hosts Drexel

BOSTON— The Northeastern women's soccer team is set to close out a three-game homestand, hosting the Drexel Dragons at Parsons Field on Sunday, Sept. 28 at 1 p.m. The game will stream live on NESN+ and FloCollege.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
  1. THE (TEP)LOW DOWN: Junior goalkeeper Eliza Teplow has played every minute for the Huskies this season. She is currently leading all CAA goalkeepers, averaging 5.00 saves per game, while her .776 save percentage ranks second among all CAA keepers. Teplow posted a career-high nine saves in a game against Brown earlier this season.
  2. LAST TIME OUT: The Huskies dropped two close games to open their CAA slate, falling to UNCW, 1-0, and Charleston, 2-1. Freshman Olivia Penn scored her first career goal against the Cougars, and graduate student Bridget Gleason tacked on her first assist as a Husky.
  3. A LOOK AT THE DRAGONS: Drexel enters this matchup after opening CAA play with a 0-0 tie against William & Mary and a 2-0 victory over Hampton. The Dragons sit at 2-2-7 overall on the season. NU owns a 13-7-8 all-time record against Drexel and most recently defeated the Dragons, 1-0, in 2024 with Teplow earning the shutout. The Huskies are looking for their first win over Drexel at home since the 2020 season (played in Spring 2021).
The Huskies will next hit the road for the first time in conference play, traveling to Hofstra on Thursday, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m.
