THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
- LAST TIME OUT: Sophomore Claire Murray scored her first career game-winning goal in the 71st minute to deliver the Huskies a 2-1 victory at Bryant, which marked their first win of the season. Senior Lauren Dupont posted a goal and an assist for the Huskies to help improve NU's all-time record against the Bulldogs to 3-0-1.
- SCOUTING BROWN: The Huskies are set to make their first trip to Brown since 2021. The Bears hold a 9-1-1 edge in the all-time series against the Huskies. Assistant coach Abby Carchio will be returning to her alma mater for the first time on Northeastern's sideline, she was a three-time First Team All-Ivy League honoree during her time with the Bears. Carchio's former head coach at Brown, Kia McNeill, served as an assistant coach at NU from 2014-15 alongside the Huskies head coach Ashley Phillips. Brown sits at 3-1-0 on the season, most recently dropping to Minnesota, 2-0.
- A LOOK AT HARVARD: Northeastern is looking for its first win over the Crimson since 2019 when they make the short trek to Cambridge. NU last traveled to Harvard in 2022, narrowly dropping to the Crimson, 3-2, with then-freshman Ava Nace scoring her first career goal. Harvard is still searching for its first win of the season, owning an 0-2-1 record to start the year. The Crimson will host fellow CAA member Monmouth on Thursday before facing NU. The Huskies own a 2-7-2 record against Harvard all-time.
Northeastern will next close out its non-conference slate at Vermont on Thursday, Sept. 11 at 6 p.m.
