BOSTON— The No. 6 Northeastern women's hockey team will head to Providence to take on the Friars on Friday, Jan. 9 at 2 p.m. in Schneider Arena. The game will stream live on EPSN+.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
- 'TIS THE SEASON OF ALLIE LALONDE: Junior Allie Lalonde was named the Hockey East Player of the Month for December. She posted three goals and one assist over three games. She potted her first career hat trick in a 3-1 victory at Boston College on Dec. 5.
- TOP OF THE TABLE: Northeastern sits at the top of the Hockey East standings with a 11-1-0 record. NU opened Hockey East play with nine-straight victories, which marked the most wins by a Northeastern team to start league play in program history.
- THE FRIARS: Northeastern took game one of the three-game Hockey East series, 4-0, on Oct. 10 at Matthews Arena. Sophomore netminder Lisa Jönsson posted an 18-save shutout and four Huskies scored. The Huskies will be making their first trip back to Schneider Arena since the Hockey East Quarterfinals last season, a 3-2 victory for NU. The Friars enter this matchup on a two-game skid after dropping to No. 5 UConn in back-to-back games. Reichen Kirchmair leads PC with 17 points, while Hope Walinski has started all 21 games in net with a .908 save percentage and 2.93 GAA.
The Huskies will next face Boston University in the Beanpot Semifinals on Tuesday, Jan. 13 at 7:30 p.m.
