NEWTON, Mass. -- Northeastern field hockey (3-6, 2-0 CAA) fell to Boston College (4-7, 0-3 ACC), 5-1, Sunday afternoon at the Boston College Field Hockey Complex.

Aiko Price kept the Huskies within striking distance throughout the opening half, making five saves in the first quarter before adding three more in the second. Boston College broke through with 29:31 remaining in the second quarter, taking a 1-0 lead into halftime.

Boston College scored three times in a span of just over five minutes in the third quarter to extend its lead to 4-0. The Eagles added another goal at 41:09, carrying a four-goal advantage into the fourth quarter.

The Eagles added their fifth goal at 50:45 before Northeastern answered less than two minutes later. Phoebe Hall converted a penalty corner at 52:46, with Jessica Garden and Izzy Johnson providing the assists, for her second consecutive game with a goal after scoring her first career goal against William & Mary.

Price finished with eight saves, while the Huskies earned three penalty corners and recorded six shots against the Eagles. Boston College finished with 23 shots and 10 penalty corners.
Northeastern returns home Friday, Oct. 9, hosting Towson at 3 p.m. at Dedham Field before welcoming Stonehill to Dedham Field Sunday, Oct. 11, at noon.
