BOSTON— The No. 5 Northeastern women's hockey team is set to close out the regular season with two road games beginning at No. 6 Connecticut on Friday, Feb. 20 at 5:30 p.m. The Huskies will then travel to Providence for a 4 p.m. puck drop on Saturday, Feb. 21.

Friday's game will be available to watch on ESPNU and TSN2, while Saturday's game will be available on ESPN+.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
- TOP OF THE TABLE: Northeastern sits at the top of the Hockey East standings with a 19-2-1 record and has already claimed the Hockey East Regular Season Trophy. Northeastern will be looking for its sixth 20-win Hockey East campaign in program history with two games remaining. The Huskies' have yet to lose in regulation in a Hockey East contest.
- THE OTHER HUSKIES: The Huskies own a 2-0-0 record against UConn this season and are riding a six-game winning streak against the other Huskies dating back to Nov. 8, 2024. Freshman Renna Trembecky and sophomore Lisa Jönsson each picked up a win at UConn earlier this season in goal. UConn owns the No. 2 seed in the Hockey East Tournament and is riding a four-game win streak most recently defeating BU, 2-0. Kyla Josifovic leads UConn with 31 points, while Julia Pellerin leads all Hockey East players with six game-winning goals. In net, Tia Chan, a National Goalie of the Year Semifinalist, owns a 1.53 GAA and .951 save percentage, both tops among Hockey East netminders.
- A LOOK AT THE FRIARS: Northeastern and Providence are set to meet for the third time this season, NU won the previous two games 4-0 and 5-2. Freshman Stryker Zablocki has posted six points against the Friars this season, including her second career hat trick. Jönsson made both starts in goal with a 1.00 GAA and .964 save percentage. The Friars are on a two-game win streak and will face Boston University on Friday before taking on the Huskies. Reichen Kirchmair leads all PC players with 24 points and 13 goals, while Cristina Cavaliere has 19 assists. In net, Hope Walinski has started every game and owns a 2.81 GAA and .909 save percentage.Â
The Huskies will next play in the Hockey East Quarterfinals on Saturday, Feb. 28.
