Stryker Zablocki represented the No. 5 Northeastern women's hockey team, earning honors from Hockey East as the league unveiled its preliminary postseason award selections on Wednesday. Constantinople earned Army ROTC Best Defender honors, while Zablocki earned Hockey East Scoring Champion and Pro Ambitions All-Rookie Team accolades.
Constantinople is the third Husky in program history to take home Best Defender honors. The East Haven, Connecticut native set new career-highs this year in goals (6), assists (16) and points (22). Her 22 points led all Hockey East defenders. She posted 64 blocks which ranked fifth among all Hockey East players and finished the regular season with a plus-14 rating.
Zablocki was named Hockey East's Scoring Champion after leading all players with 34 points in Hockey East games. Her 34 points came off 17 goals and 17 assists. She is the first freshman to win the honor since Boston College's Daryl Watts in 2017-18 and first Husky since Alina Mueller in 2022-23. The Prince Albert, Saskatchewan native also claimed All-Rookie Team honors. Zablocki posted 42 points overall during the regular season, the 11th-best mark in the NCAA.
The remainder of the awards, including the three All-Star Teams, Goaltender of the Year, Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year and Coach of the Year will be unveiled in the coming days by Hockey East.
