DETROIT— Jules Constantinople,
Lily Shannon, Tory Mariano and
Jaden Bogden of the Northeastern women's hockey team were all selected in the 2026 Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) draft on Wednesday, June 17 at Fox Theatre in Detroit.
The reigning Hockey East Defender of the Year, Constantinople was the first Husky off the board, after being drafted by the Vancouver Goldeneyes in the third round with the 25
th overall pick. Constantinople notched 17 goals, 47 assists and 64 points in 150 career games for Northeastern.
Northeastern's captain and a unanimous Hockey East First Team All-Star in 2025-26, Shannon was taken 40
th overall in the fourth round by San Jose. The Andover, Massachusetts native recorded 97 career points off 47 goals and 50 assists during her time at NU.
Bogden was taken by the Boston Fleet in the fourth round with the 46
th overall pick. Bogden played two seasons with the Huskies, scoring 36 points in 67 games.
Mariano, who was the last Husky drafted, finished out her eligibility with Northeastern during the 2024-25 season and was taken 47
th overall in the fourth round by Ottawa Charge.
This quartet of Huskies joins an illustrious group of former Northeastern players to suit up in the PWHL. Northeastern had 12 players on rosters during the 2025-26 PWHL season, and at least one Husky has lifted the Walter Cup every season.
