Six Huskies Named Hockey East All-Stars

AMESBURY, Mass.— Six student-athletes from the No. 5 Northeastern women's hockey team earned spots on Hockey East All-Star teams as announced on Friday.
 
Senior Jules Constantinople, senior Lily Shannon and freshman Stryker Zablocki were named First Team All-Stars, sophomore Lisa Jönsson and senior Kristina Allard claimed Second Team All-Star honors and sophomore Morgan Jackson earned Third Team All-Star accolades. Northeastern led all Hockey East schools with six All-Star team selections.
 
Constantinople, Shannon and Zablocki were all unanimous selections as First Team All-Stars.
 
Hockey East's Best Defender, Constantinople is now a two-time Hockey East All-Star. Constantinople posted career-highs in goals (6), assists (16) and points (22) this season. She has tallied four power-play goals this season, also a career-high, and leads all Huskies with 64 blocks. Her 22 points leads all Hockey East defenders.
 
Shannon is making her first appearance as a First Team All-Star. The Andover, Massachusetts native posted 19 goals, 22 assists and 41 points in the regular season, all career-highs. Her 41 points rank third among all Hockey East players, while her six game-winning goals is tied for the third-best mark in the NCAA. She is the only player in the country who has posted over 40 points and over 40 blocks.
 
Zablocki is the first Husky since Alina Mueller (2018-19) and just the fourth in program history to be named a Hockey East First Team All-Star as a freshman. Zablocki was already named Hockey East's Scoring Champion with 34 points in league play and to the Hockey East All-Rookie team. Zablocki has tallied 18 goals, 24 assists and 42 points. She is +22 on the season, the best mark of any Hockey East player.
 
A National Goaltender of the Year Semifinalist, Jönsson earned Hockey East Second Team All-Star honors for the first time in her career. Jönsson owns a 18-5-1 record with a 1.70 GAA and .937 save percentage. Her 18 wins sits tied for the sixth-best mark in the NCAA. In Hockey East games, Jönsson leads all netminders with a 1.24 GAA and .955 save percentage and did not lose a game in regulation.
 
Allard is a first time All-Star, earning Second Team accolades. The Kingston, New Hampshire native posted two goals, 13 assists and 15 points, with all marking career-highs. Her 15 points is one more than her three previous years combined. Allard's 15 points is tied for the sixth-best mark among all Hockey East defenders.
 
Jackson earned her first All-Star nod on the Third Team as a sophomore. Jackson has posted 26 points off 10 goals and 16 assists. The Courtenay, British Columbia native has also tallied three game-winning goals this season. She is +17 on the season, tied for the third-best mark among all Hockey East players.
 
Hockey East will unveil the Player of the Year, Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Year and Coach of the Year award in the coming days.
