Women's Rowing Set For Spring Opener

BOSTON — The Northeastern women's rowing gets underway this weekend, opening the 2026 spring season at the Doc Hosea Invitational on Sunday, March 29 in Cherry Hill, N.J. The Huskies will face No. 12 Syracuse and No. 9 Virginia in the morning session, followed by No. 3 Yale in the afternoon.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
  1. A FAMILIAR START: Northeastern makes its fifth consecutive appearance at the Doc Hosea Invitational this weekend, with six boats (four eights, two fours) representing the Huskies.
  2. CHASING 12: Defending 11 straight CAA titles, Northeastern heads into the spring with a five-race schedule featuring one home race on the Charles and four road races before the CAA Championships.
  3. ON THE RADAR: Sophomore Stina Dewes and freshmen Maddy Croker and Evie Gaylord were each named to the 2026 FSN Watchlist in Division I Women's Rowing.
